Carpathian Trophy – An Unforgettable Off-Road Adventure Through Romania

Welcome to the Carpathian Trophy – a week-long off-road journey through the untamed beauty of Romania’s Carpathian Mountains.

After arriving by plane in Cluj-Napoca, you’ll be warmly welcomed at our hotel where your bike is already prepped and waiting. The adventure kicks off with a detailed briefing to get your adrenaline flowing — because what lies ahead is nothing short of spectacular.

Ride the Wild Carpathians
Over the next six days, you’ll ride deep into the heart of the Carpathians. From rugged forest tracks and rolling ridgelines to scenic mountain villages and river crossings, this route has it all. Whether you’re navigating fast-flowing dirt trails or tackling more technical sections, every day brings a new kind of challenge — and reward.

You’ll ride independently using our expertly curated GPX tracks, with plenty of opportunities along the way to refuel, grab lunch, and soak in the views.

North to South — and Back Again
We begin on the northern slopes of the Carpathians, heading south across the range via the epic Transalpina, one of Europe’s highest and most stunning alpine roads. We then reach the historic town of Sibiu before looping back through the mountains to Cluj-Napoca.

Unique Stays & a Proper Finish
Each night, you’ll stay in a variety of handpicked accommodations — from charming local guesthouses to comfortable hotels. On the final night, we celebrate in Cluj-Napoca with a proper send-off dinner, reliving the highlights of an extraordinary week.

The next day, you fly home filled with stories, memories, and a little dust on your boots. The Carpathian Trophy isn’t just a trip — it’s a full-throttle off-road experience.
